Bib #1893!
The count down is on. In 5 more days, I will have marathon #3 under my belt. Am I ready? I have no choice but to be ready. I did some reflecting yesterday evening. I flipped through every single page of my training log and as I read the various distances, paces, terrain, etc... I really began to feel like I can do this. I know I can run a marathon. I've done it twice. I just want to be able to meet the goal that I've been working so hard for. Thank god I will have my dad running with me. He really knows how to push me and I know having him by my side will make this experience a great one.
As of now, the weather says high 64, low 51 with 30% chance of showers. I can handle that.
I only have a few short & easy runs planned this week. I ran an easy 3.5 miles this morning. I plan to run an easy 4 tomorrow and an easy 3-4 on Thursday. I am going to get to bed at least 30 minutes earlier each night and I am really paying attention to what I eat. It's my last ditch efforts in ensuring my body is ready come race day!
