Trail Success!

Last nights trail run was a success! We headed out to Huron Meadows park, which is where our 5 mile trail race is on March 20th. The trails were wet and muddy, but snow free. There were a few parts that still had snow on them, but nothing remotely close to what he endured last week! We didn't keep tabs on our distance but we ended up running for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I felt good through out the run and came out injury free. I am still not sure how I feel about trail running. It's definitely changes up the scenery and can be a tough work out, but I just can't say that I love it like I can with road racing.

  1. Yeah, go roads! LOL. Trail running is definately different. It is easier on the feet, i think. The softer ground definately helps with the impact on the legs, but the hills (read mountains) and having to watch your step is something to be wrestled with. But it's always great to mix it up on the trail or pavement. :)
